LINGERIE LOOP..........OH NO!!!.............HIDE MY BRA STRAPS.......

You will need 1/4" inch of twill tape and a weebaby snap.....2" inches from the edge of the twill tape is where you will start.........

Place boy snap on the edge of twill tape and on the top of the raw edge so edge is concealed with snap on top of edge to fold and conceal.  Affix twill tape....fold at opposite end of raw edge to enclose....add the female snap sewn under snap...This will go at the shoulder seam of the garmet

The final step has arrived..... we can snap them together now.....as seen below...

We can snap it and we will look good without those straps showing....

This is called a "Swing Tack" or better known as: The "Crochet Belt"...........Take a stitch and pull thread through fabric and then take a back stitch and do not pull through all of the way.......You want to leave a loop as seen above....NEXT

Now we pull through the needle by holding loop open as we thread through

This procedure can be found on page 79 of the digest for further instructions...This is a close up of the loop after the initial pull through....pretty cool huh??...

The final outcome of it.......a very awesome crochet belt loop!!!.....yeah!!

  1. Thanks a lot for sharing this tutorial. This is really a great way to prevent bra straps from falling. And this is easy to do and very much inexpensive.
